Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is located in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the vast Rift Valley. It is home of about 360 Gorillas, half of the world's population of mountain gorillas.  Kibale on the other hand is a lush tropical rainforest with over 1000 chimpanzees. In Bwindi you can see Gorillas in their natural environment, whereas in Kibali Forest you can view chimpanzees up close.

The two parks are different from each other and yet the complement each other with their Gorillas and Chimpanzees.  You can see many other species of wildlife there as well as birds, flora and fauna.

Five Day Ugandan Gorilla and Chimpanzee Safari at Bwindi Forest and Kibale National Park:

Day 1 - The Gorilla - Chimpanzee Safari Begins:  Leave Kampala early in the morning after breakfast.  Drive through the countryside of Uganda toward Bwindi National Park where we will choose the better lodging or budget according to your wishes.  Location can depend on where your permit is for in the park. Lunch at a nice Restaurant long the way, dinner at your lodging destination. Full Board.

Day 2 -   The Gorilla Tracking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest:  Enjoy an early breakfast and then a pre-tracking gorilla briefing to go over guidelines for you and your safety.  The Bwindi Gorilla tracking begins soon afterwards and can be from a short walk to an all day hike.  Lunch and a visit to a pygmy village if time permits.  That evening dinner at your lodging place and rest.

Day 3 - The Gorilla Safari ends and Chimpanzee Tracking begins: An early breakfast once again and departure for Kibale National Park for chimpanzee tracking .  Get settled in your lodging which is either upscale Better or Budget lodging. Full board

Day 4 - Chimpanzee Tracking at Kibale Forest:  Early rise and breakfast and then  chimpanzee tracking in the morning.  Lunch and afternoon leisure and an optional village walk or another forest walk.  Dinner and rest at your lodging.

Day 5 - The Ugandan Safari comes to an end: Breakfast and back to Kampala in time for dinner...Lunch along the journey.
