Airline Travel to Uganda...Information and Booking

Airline Travel is becoming more and more convenient to Entebbe, Uganda.  You can fly from the USA via Northwest and KLM, or British Airways using American Airlines or British Airways to London and on to Entebbe.  There is also Ethiopian Airlines, Brussel Airlines, Air Emirates, Air Kenya and soon to be more.

We want to make your coming here most convenient, so we have arranged a way for you to book the best fares around with various airlines.  You sent us  the dates, passengers names, number of passengers and we will send you a quote.  You can then book with your credit card with a certified IATA Travel Consultant in North America and you will be on your way to Africa.

We pick you up at the airport and transport you to one of our Guest Houses or the Hotel of your choice in Kampala. 

In order to make your arrival much easier we have listed some tips below:

1. Obtain an International Health Card in your country of residence.  Go to a tropical health clinic and get your immunizations that you will need for Uganda.  Yellow Fever immunizations are mandatory and must be so noted on your card and must be shown upon entry with passport.

2. Visa:  It cost you less to get a visa upon entry instead of in your country of residence since you have to have passport pictures and also need to overnight your passport back and forth to Embassy.  A normal 90 day visa here, a one time entry visa is $50 dollars US.  Your entry form is all you need for visa application.

3. Be courteous and soft spoken to Immigration and it makes the wait much easier.

4. Customs:  Usually there are no problems and customs is quite easy.  In some cases you may be asked to have your luggage scanned upon entering the customs section, even though you are going through the green channel.

5. Our staff will be outside of terminal to meet you with a sign that has your name or organization's name on it.
