If you have never been to Africa - Uganda is the best place to start - see all the wildlife in abundance, besides most of the Mountain Gorillas in the world are in Uganda.  Primates in abundance, Kibale forest alone has over 1000 chimpanzees, besides there are many other kinds of primates there in addition.  Uganda with its rich  forests, vast plains and mysterious mountainous regions is a bird watchers paradise.  Over 1000 species can be found here, that will certainly keep you occupied.
